I am passionate about making time for play and creation, and the majority of my life outside of work is spent knitting, coloring, reading, playing with my dogs, ingesting as many Americanos as humanly possible and working out at my local CrossFit gym (3% body fat loss in 2015!).
With 10 years of experience in integrated marketing, brand and business strategy, I am a self-titled intrapreneur who specializes in quietly (and sometimes not-so-quietly) building things behind the scenes.
Prior to joining Habits at Work, I founded the creative firm, Kindred Labs, where I worked with startups and big businesses to clarify their purpose and bring their vision to life in the form of brand and business strategy.
Previously, I was a senior strategist at Health Brand Group, where I consulted with companies in the health and wellness industry to align their vision and channel their efforts into building and evolving authentic brands. As marketing manager at KLS Edition, I developed and led integrated marketing efforts for B2B consulting firms.
Prior to KLS Edition, I dabbled in social media consulting, interned for Interweave Press, and worked as an associate product manager for a rapidly growing affiliate marketing company.
From 2009-2012, I was a Center for Applied Innovation Fellow, and diligently worked to develop the Invent for Humanity Technology Transfer Exchange Fair.
In 2011, I helped launch The Wool Dispensary, a small independent yarn dyeing and design firm, using Kickstarter.
I hold a Bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising (Entrepreneurship minor) from the University of Akron, as well as a Master’s in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University.
